Trend changes are shown on chart as a colored background. Green = Uptrend. Red = Downtrend.

The Trendbot uses a simple EMA crossover (with visible EMA lines) to show you when an uptrend or downtrend have been established. The most basic of Trendbot rules: don’t go long when the background is red, don’t go short when the background is green.

Long and Short entries are shown on chart when the price retests the trend and bounces/rejects. 

What good is a trend change when you still don’t know when to enter? The Trendbot will display a “Long” when price retests the trend and bounces and a “Short” when price retests the trend and rejects. If you miss the first entry Trendbot will show colored dots to let you know a second (or third, fourth, fifth) entry.

NYSE TICK lines overlayed on Average True Range combines two things in one to give you a pulse on the market.

The TICK index compares the number of stocks that are rising to the number of stocks that are falling on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). We’ve overlayed this information on top of ATR to give you even more confidence when entering (or avoiding) trades. When the background is green, you see a Long, and TICK is green? That’s a lot of confluence. Red background, Short entry, and TICK is red? Time to short!
